Help with USB connections?

I am a teacher's aide for my history teacher. He asked me to find a USB apparatus of some sort to try and connect two of his computers together. He whole teaching method uses his powerpoints that he creates. Also, on each of his computers he had identical copies of each of his presentations. He needs to find a way to be able to use his wireless slide changer to move through the identical slides simultaneously, during cl, from their separate computers. Do I need some sort of USB bridge or connector? Is this even possible? What can I do to help him out? Very thorough and detailed answers would be much appreciated, I'm even open to emails as well. If I need to clarify myself please let me know.
