Camera and card reader?

You are missing nothing! I have the same problem on SOME computers, but not others! Download your camera drivers and upload pics to computer through the camera program, save to file and all will be fine. I can stick my Nikon or Canon cards directly into my new Toshiba Netbook (MS XP ) and read directly! I cannot read directly in my desktop computers (MS XP)....go figure!
