How do i get my parents to give me more freedom?

I am a mature, responsible 16 year old. I get very good grades, i am very focused on my future, and I don't really ever get into trouble. My parents still treat me like i'm 5. they try to plan my entire life, tell me when to do things like homework, gong to sleep, what to eat, and who I can hang out with. My dad won't even let me see PG 13 movies, when I haven't been 13 in almost 3 years. I just want to know how i can show them that I am responsible, and that they can trust me to live my own life. I want to know how to get them to lighten up.
